here i am searching for a tea set to try and teach both my children how to pretend eat and drink (and not to mouth other items lol)

and tea sets are $25 minimum in toys r us.:dizzy:

mil nearly fell off her chair as she was expecting it to be $5 but when she saw it was a 35 piece set she was oh wow but still. you can get a crockery set for that much.

just ranting.:o

Agreed! Toys are expensive! I understand yours was something you wanted straight away but check out the baby markets. I went this morning & got my DD some bit's and bobs for cheap

Oh & they have super cute tea sets on ebay that are wooden & colourful. I love them but they are quite expensive. I'm debating whether to get them as I know both me & DD will love it :D

Yeah, toys are ridiculously expensive, and honestly, they are is some real crap out there.

I guess the idea is to get a little amount of good quality toys.

I found with my DD, the more she had, the less she played with them. Now that I've gotten rid of all her plastic noisy toys and kept her wooden ones, she plays with them so much more.

I think you make a very valid point . My DD has heaps of toys & she doesn't play with them much. Thinking I might pop some away or sell them & see if she gets interested in some of the few I leave out. Thanks for the idea :D.
