Hi:wave:

I just saw this cool looking product in the latest toys r us catologue.

Its called a Safe n secure sleeper and its kinda like a snuggle bed only less then half the price:)

I tried to get a link up but couldnt.

Has anyone used one of these?

I used a snuggle bed and was very happy with it but just thought i'd put this up for any people wanting to co sleep but a little unsure about how to go about it etc

This product looks good:)

I have a snuggle bed but its in the loungeroom i dont think everyone would fit in bed if the snuggle bed was there.

We made ours fit lol, not very comfy but hey we made do!

I havent seen this product in the flesh so to speak so am unaware of how big it is, but they did show a pic and both parents are sleeping on either side of it......so maybe smaller then a snuggle bed.

Also they are on sale for $49.99 and are orignally only 69.99 so heaps cheaper then the snuggle bed.

Just worth a look for those who are interested:)

was it something like this (http://www.pregnancystore.com/images/Snuggle%20Nest/Deluxe_Snuggle_Nest_A_WEB.jpg), S?

I've seen them around, just in Kmart or Target or Big W or something :D They look like a go for those who wish to co-sleep but are a bit wary. :)

awww seekrit your on my wave length LOL thats it:yes:

Its got a little night light so you can check on bubs (something i did constantly when i first brang bubs home) which i think is good and it does look smaller then the snuggle bed for sure:)

Thanks a bunch Nikki for posting the link:hugs:

Oh S thank you :yelclap: ...i saw these in toys r us months ago (before i was pg) and thought they looked great, so i tried looking them up on the toys r us website last week but it took ages to download the catologue and then i couldn't find it....think i may be in the wrong section....anyway.....thanks seekrit too - i just went to your link.

Anyhoo i think they look great as i was sooo paranoid of having DD next to me when she was a newborn. I ended up with dead arms and pins and needles all the time. I'm going to go and layby one tomorrow!!

Oh you're welcome :) I've seen them around and thought they're a good idea. I don't think we could be a co-sleeping family ourselves but they do look like a good investment for some :D

Cheeky!
Matter of fact, I do (http://www.babymall.com.au/ibm_docs/babymall/product_images/TE1Ljpg.jpg)
(I'm just a googler.. okay? :p)
I like the look of these for carting around to peoples places and having a place for bubs to sleep (like on a bed, put the snuggle bed down for day-naps or something) but I don'tknow how well the sides would go when baby was on a roll...

Yep I used the snuggle bed and it was great for carting around to rellies and friends places....a true godsend BUT as you pointed out Seekrit once bubs start rolling and crawling it can be time to pack the snuggle bed away and put them in the cot.

Mine was in hissnuggle bed up until 6mths (so well after he started rolling) but right around the time he started crawling and was able to crawl out.

Thanks for the link Nikki....again:thumbsup:

I dont think you are meant to use snuggle beds after about 6 months, i dont think my boofer will even fit in it that long. The bloody amby hammock is taking up half my room but i spent so much on it i cant bear to pack it away.

Yeah thats in my 2nd post mel hehehehe

Jo- Sorry I am going to try the hammock out on this next bub and hopefully get my moneys worth LOL:laughing: PLUS postage from sydney would be a nightmare :gloomy: :D

You can hire them from baby hire places not sure where abouts in perth but chck out the bh directory for listings, good luck in finding one. I have used them before at a day care i worked at and they were fabulous....obviously not for every baby though!

I only just saw this thread, I've bought one of these beds for when bubs arrives, I got mine on sale from Target, but not as cheap as 49.95:no:

I'm certainly hoping it will be good, it's quite compact and folds up with a handle so easy to take when you go visiting. I'm also a bit worried about having a tiny little newborn in the bed with us so it will give me peace of mind to know that the baby has a safe place to sleep but is still within arms reach. We had some friends come over for dinner last wednesday with their newborn, and when we were about to eat they wanted somewhere to put the sleeping baby down, so instead of going back out to the car to get the pram we popped her down in it on the floor, so it's had a bit of a trial run! Our friends thought it was fantastic and their little bubba slept like an angel in there.
