Ok, wondering what do you think the best fitted nappy is for a newborn?

My personal favourites are kissaluvs size 0s. they need boosting though after about 6 weeks though! Lasted my daughter till about 5 months.

I've got a few different ones for DS & I'm happy with all of them.

I have the kissaluv size 0, lushies, fluffestuff & have some raphaels on the way.

You need to make sure you have a good cover & I'm really happy with the thirsties ones. They have great gussets on the legs that hold everything in.

No matter what nappy, I highly reccomend the thirsties covers - go for the small, not the XS though, my twins are growing out of the XS now at 8weeks, and they are now weighing 8lb, so for a full term bub, they'd only last a week or so.

For nappies - we have used prefolds - brilliant, but now not lasting too long. Bitti Boo's are brilliant and now fitting them well, so on a full term newborn - smalls would be perfect!

There are lots of great AIO's, but they're totally different to a fitted.

For Cruz I have some Genesa Forge, Bumgenius, Fluffestuff & getting some Beetletbums. Am also trying to decide if I go for a CGR or not

It depends if you want to go sized or OSFM. OSFM generally won't fit straight away, so you could always go with fitteds until bub is a little bigger & then get some OSFM ones.

For AIO, I LOVE bubblebubs and itti bitti's. They are sized though. And although I haven't used them on a newborn i think magicalls would be great!

Kissaluv size 0 are great!

Another one that I love is Bumgenius Bamboo fitted, but they don't make them any more so they're impossible to find!

CK Raphaels are good too.

AIOs I like are Bubblebubs, Bumgenius AIO and Itti Bitti D'lish. I haven't used the D'Lish on a newborn, but they look small enough.

I like bubblebubs aios for NBs! i don't have any small ittis though I bet they'd be nice too... though pooplosions kinda scare me with AIOs and pockets! Hence I'm more of a fitteds girl.

My fitted stash sounds like kotokai's! Lushies, kissaluvs and raphs! Though I am going to use lots of my OSFM fitteds for new baby when he comes too (love my cute tooshies and BBH)

I have a 5 day old baby now so I can tell you what is working for us . She was 3.16kgs at birth . I am using Bam Bam fitted nappies from Bubblebubs with small thirsties and small Bummis covers and had not had one leak yet . I have also used a newborn BBH Magic all and small Bambooty easy dry AIO , she has not pooed in these yet so I dont now how good they will be with that but they both fit well with no leaks .

Oh I hope I'm not too late.. we had huge poo leakages with the IB's- those nb poos are sooooo runny. I would go for fitteds and covers for a nb now because of that. Also beware the poos in the carseat/capsule and bouncinet.. extra pressure makes for even more escaping poo! Btw, I love my IB's now that we're on solids, they are excellent.

My DS is about 8 weeks & 3.7kgs now, but as he was prem, still has little tiny chicken legs & I've just tried his sm bubblebubs on him & they are great

I think for a normal sized newborn they would be fine from the start.
