*first-timer* alert!!!
I've got two beautiful girls, aged 5 & almost 1. I'm still brestfeeding, and trying to conceive a third. wouldn't mind having a boy this time tho. i would love any tips or advice on both topics (ttc whilst bf, & boy making). thanx. Lucinda. :)
Hi, I've successfully gotten pregnant while BF my 16 mth old - she's still feeding about 5-6 times a day - it only took us about 4 months of trying before we were successful - and I'm an oldie at 36.
One thing I found out about was that BFing hormones can shorten the luteal phase of your menstral cycle - that is the part of the cycle that occurs between ovulation and menstruation. This phase needs to be 10 - 12 days so that your fertilized egg has time to implant properly.
I also heard that you have a better chance of getting a boy if you have sex on the day you ovulate. Charting your temperature and cervical mucus over time will help you pinpoint exactly when you are ovulating.
The Fertility Friend website was really helpful to me

Best of luck with everything:)
Oh yeah, and welcome to Bubhub:thumbsup:
welcome...
I am assuming you have your periods back? And yes, deffinately get into the charting, and plan to bd on the day of ovulation, or just after, thats how I conceived my son, as they boy sperms swim faster, then the girl ones...
