Brisbane July Dinner

Calling all Brisvegas bubhubbers!!

Ok here it is! I thought since June is quickly coming to a close, I had better start getting imput for the July dinner.

Lets decided on a date and time...

Will we stick with the brunch idea, or have a dinner or lunch?

Brunch or lunch is going to be better for me, but what about everyone else? I can juggle things around if I really need to. (heh, I'm a mum, what more do I need to say?):D

So suggest away.....

Lunch/Brunch is good, provided it's on a weekend :)
We haven't had a weekend dinner for the last couple (I think there are some bubhubbers who can only sneak out on a weekend night when the kids are in bed)

Just to be difficult, I prefer dinners... I feel bad leaving the dude and DP alone, and want to be with them. At night the noodle is sleeping and DP has the telly for comfort.

And night time means alcohol :laughing:!

I think brunch or lunch is good. I feel better leaving Andrew awake with Dad during the day than potentially awake and cranky and needing Mum at night :)

maybe we need to organise a brunch and a dinner.....

i want to show off my new little man to everyone too (he is only 2 weeks old, so should travel well at this stage!).

i prefer brunch or lunch, instead of leaving dd at night with 2 kiddies! and hopefully this one will be at the end of july, so i can recover for a couple of weeks b4 bubs comes! not only that i really enjoyed the june brunch, looking forward to the july one, and i will have my lil baby gal to show off! and too cold at this time of yr to take her out at night! Ok Folks, as the gnome holder (although it may have been via default), I'm going to excersize my power and decide that the July meet will be another brunch.
Seems to suit the majority.

How does the 22nd sound? Does this give you enough time hereigoagain??

Not sure what the proticol (sp) is when in comes to deciding on a venue? Fill me in...do I pick somewhere central to all, or just any old place?

Bec - as for venue.. your choice, I don't know that any suggestions have been thrown around lately.. however, we do keep the location secret-squirrel and the gnome holder PMs it to bubhubbers who are interested in coming.

sorry, a bit late but brunch sounds perfect - means i can get there & home. dinner would have been a hassle since i'll be relying on public transport & the last bus home from the city is about 8pm!! lol. just pls don't make it anything expensive! :)

OK folks, the brunch will definately be on the 22nd. I am yet to finalise the venue. I have had a few suggestions from others, but since I have been working all week, I haven't had a chance to follow anything up. Will update you all tomorrow.
