I've heard how sniffer dogs have been trained to detect early cancer in patients by sniffing their breath. They also have doggies to detect when a diabetic is about to have an a fit.

We need to get an hCG sniffer dog. That way we can abolish the TWW and cut it down to a 8 - 10 Day wait.

Can you imaging how torturous it would have been WAY back when our grandmothers were TTC and they had no way of knowing for certain if they were pg until the had a protruding belly.

How funny is this, I was at the airport today and saw a sniffer dog and thought the same thing.

'hmmm if they can smell drugs under dirty clothes I wonder if they can smell a baby in my tummy'

:D

VERY FUNNY!

How frustrating though, in the past, it would have been more like 16WW. You'd have a hunch but not know for sure till bump came.

during that year, where I had all the miscarriages, I noticed that every time I was pg, my cat was attracted to lying on my belly more than when I wasnt pg, so I do think there is something that animals can detect quite early on.
