CM while TTC

I feel a little silly asking this question.... :o

But I was wondering if you dont have very much CM would that make it a little harder to conceive??

Would that mean if you didnt have that much then you would have to time BD really close to ovulation because the little swimmers wouldnt be able to survive in no CM if you BD like a day or 2 before ovulation?

I hope this doesnt sound to silly and it makes sense!!

it would make it harder for the sperm to survive as we have an acidic environment and sperm need it fairly akaline to survive for a few days, girl sperm can with stand the acidic environment better than male sperm. It is still possible many women fall pregnant with very little cm if you're concerned by some preseed or forelife lube.

Your question is not sill at all, in fact since trying to TTC I have read a lot about CM & it's role in conception.

I personally have not tried anything to boost CM production, but something I have read about & am considering is Evening Primrose Oil. I read about it on another thread here somewhere, but I also Googled for more info.
Apparently you take 1500mg - 3000mg per day BUT ONLY from AF to O as it can cause contractions.

This is what I found just doing my own search, but you might like to look into it further or anybody else out there may have more info.

I was just unsure on how important CM is when ttc!! I never seemed to have a problem with it while ttc ds1 and ds2, but this time I have found I dont have as much (sorry prob tmi)!!

I tried evening primrose oil during one of my cycles and it didnt really seem to change much so this cycle i have been drinking green tea and am trying to drink more water, hasnt really changed anything as yet!! I remember reading somewhere that its the CM up near your cervix that counts coz thats where the swimmers go, so hopefully its all there!!

I have also tried the preseed as well, but need to buy some more!! But have heard good things about it!!
