Bleeding 8 days b4 period due?? sorry TMI

After any advice on what could be haapening...
We are currently TTC and I felt pretty sure I may be pregnant this month.
My period is due in 8 days and I was waiting to do a pregnancy test
I just went to the toilet and had quite alot of blood in my underwear as if my period had begun although nothing really when I wiped myself.
Im just really confused as my period is always on time and I dont know if it has come really early for some strange reason or if it is a very early miscarriage or implantation bleeding or something?
I have also just began having stomache cramps
Any help or advise? I dont know whats happening...

Your bleeding could be any number of things really, it's hard to know. Like you said, it could be implantation bleeding, an early period or a very early pregnancy loss. Have you done a HPT?? An early detection one might show up a pregnancy this early. But it might also show up as positive if you have had an early loss because the hcg is still in your system.

If the cramps are bad, then maybe you should go to the doctor to get checked out. Otherwise, perhaps just wait and see what happens with the bleeding.

Hi BB000, thanks for the reply.
I havent done a HPT yet as I didnt think one would show up 8 days before period was due.
Cramps arnt bad either just like dull period pain.
I guess like you said I should just wait and see what happens with the bleeding.
If it is implantation bleeding it shouldnt last long should it?? and it shouldnt get heavy either?
