Has anyone recieved there tax back yet? Do u no when u will be getting urs?

I have a tax bill and have to pay ALOT :banghead: the fun of being a sole trader....expect Centrelink will then want money back too.

Are you talking bout the Family tax A&B supplement? If so, they are starting to pay it the fortnight of the 16th (so next week) and should co incide with your family tax payday. Its around $686 per child plus one payment of $300 and something per family.

You need to call them or tell them online that you dont need to lodge.

It will show up online 2 days before you recieve the payment.

I called them this morning :D

Yes thats the one, thank you. Single mums get both the $686 and $300 right? as we get both part A & B.

Yep sure do :D the 300 one is just a tad over 300, cant remember exactly.

Well you get it all as long as you dont owe them anything either due to C/S or overpayment....if you have a debt for any other reason, you still get it :D

I have a debt back from when i was studying :mad: but shouldnt have been overpaid i only get 40 a mth in child support haha.

i have one group cert, just waiting on my old job and one from centrelink. really not sure if i will get back much. hopefully i will but the ATO want money from me still so they will just be taking it from my tax due to me if i get any.

I don't think I'm very up to date!!?? I thought you get $600 per child and it was paid with your tax return if you have to do one or you call up to notify C/L you don't have to lodge a return and then they pay you it directly?? Or is that a different payment I'm thinking of? I've never heard of the $300 etc??? I've had to lodge a return and could see the $1200 on the end lodgement estimate return section, and seeing I overestimated my financial year income I expect c/l will owe me some money - what else do I get? Anyone know? I will go have a look on c/l site also.

I havent received my group cert from CL yet. Can i still call and say that i dont need to lodge? I'm only on PPS, FTB a+b and get 120 CS a month....

well for anyone else that has worked in the last financial year has to wait for there other group certificates first... so i guess what your talking about kayla is different?
i bet my boss will take ages sending mine out too :rolleyes:

:no: No, havent worked in the last financial year been home raising my gorjus son :valentine:. Could never leave him :( so yes i guess we are talking about different things.
