Ovulation?

I have been doing ovulation tests since my AF finished, and today's the first day (CD 19) of it saying I will ovulate within the next 24-36 hours...is it normal to ovulate on CD 19 - 20???

I hear everyone else saying usually it's day 10 - 14, or does it really just depend on your own cycle?

Hi Sweetserenity, I usually ovulate between CD16 - CD20 & i know of alot of other people who are the same. I think everyones bodies are different so i wouldnt be to worried about ovulating late. It just means you will have to wait longer for that BFP, unless your luteal phase is short. Hope that helped a bit.

The 10 - 14 is just a guide for when many may ovulate - but many ovulate at other times and that is normal for them.
I have never used an ovulation tester but i'm fairly sure i ovulate later in my cycle.

Hi, I also ovulate late in my cycle, usually between day 17 and 24. My doctor has always told me this is quite normal and that as long as you ovulate, it doesn't really matter what day it happens on. Just means you have to time your BD accordingly!

I am CD 19 today and got a Pos OPK to. My cycle has been a lil longer since my D&C though.

I would think u will o tomorrow. So test 12 - 14 days after that.:yes:

Maybe we will be testing together and get BFPs the same day.:fingerscrossed:

Hi there

I always ovulate late in my cycle. My cycle is quite irregular, usually between 32-39 days so I don't ovulate until about cd 18 and some times even a bit later if I'm having a longer cycle. How long are you cycles usually? You normally ovulate about 14 days before your next period.

This is my third cycle since being off the pill, so I wasn't sure if I'm back in routine or not, hence why I thought I would use the o tests this month.

Punky I'm not sure how long my cycles usually are, they're not very long though :no: I think roughly 26 days??

This is my second cycle off the pill. I've been charting my temp and I would have ovulated on CD 18/19 (my temp dropped on 18 and spiked on 19). My last cycle was 29 days.
