JACY'S BIRTH!
i thought seen as most ppl do it i might as well share my birth stories. My first son jacy was born on the 02/02/05! it was hot and sticky and i was fat and uncomfortable all the time. It was the day before i went into laubour, hubby had to go to court for driving offeneces, i was to fat to go because we didn't have a car (i crashed it)! Hubby was late comming home and i kept thinking "maybe he's gone to jail" (DH has very bad driving record). So i waited until after 2pm still not home. finally at 3pm he walks through the door almost in tears! asked wat the matter was, he told me he almost went to jail the judge has sentenced him to serve 2 months for driving while disqualified (DH supprised me by driving from bris to bundaburg when i was visiting my mother:hugs:, was very sweet but he got pulled up on the way home), as the bailif was hand cuffing him, he looked at the judge and started crying! He said that i was pregnant and due any day and he couldnt miss the birth of his first son, he pleaded with the judge not to send him, he even asked for his disqualifcation to be extended so he didnt have to go to jail. The judge aggreed thank god:smiliedance: and sent him home with 12mnth suppend sentence and 3yrs disqualified. Sure enough that night the contractions started, the were getting stonger then just died off for 2 hours , So my mother in law told me about castor oil! By that stage had gotten really strong and about five minutes apart then just stopped. So at 8:30pm i go ahead with the castor oil! OH i was sick! throwing up and all the rest of it NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN!!!! By 2am my waters broke and i had a perfect delivery 18hrs and two clinders of gas later Jacy Luchlann Holley, my beautiful alien looking baby was born at 6:28pm :yelclap: He weighed 6lbs 11OZ and was46.5 cm long a tiny little boy and his nose was brused from the pressure but beatutiful all the same and we got it all on film! even me drinking castor oil! LOVELY:barf:

After a hard pregnancy and endless fighting with DH having morning, well, all day sickness through out the whole thing (hence me believing he was in fact a she-never sick with jacy!). Having argued with the doctor for ten minutes about the sex of the baby and heavy bleeding at 17 weeks. Caleb Leroy arrived two days early 23/02/06! It started the night before i had been having false labour for days! This time i knew it was for real so i called the hospital and told them to expect me in the next day or so! I ate my dinner and my muffins was addicted to muffins! and went to bed taking panadol to help me sleep! I woke up 3 times and walked around a bit seen my muffins on the kitchen bench a few times but fought off urges to eat them decided to go back to bed! rang my brother and sister in law at about 7:30am told them this was it and my brother came and got jacy! i procceed to clean my house scrubbing cupboards and so on they all thought i was mad! I was also laughing between contractions my sister in law still thinks im crazy! i left it till about 10:30am before we went to the hospital!
i should have just stayed home! When we got there we were greeted with "who are you even" though i had been calling for the last 12 hrs every hour to let my midwife know i was alright then i was forced to wait for a room for 45mins in the anti natal clinic waiting room with 20 or so people watching me laubour and me screaming at the receptionist to get me in a EXPLICIT! room! My DH laughing at me screaming at everyone! OH was not funny at all! by the time i got into a room my contraction were 1 minute apart lasting for around a minute. Finally i get to see a midwife i get an internal! 5 cm! Wahoo! they told me that my cervics is facing the wrong way???!!! Never heard of this before! So they break my water, and put a scalp monitor a baby's head  i hate these things and protest but no one listened! At this stage i'm still in the ward! and am being told to keep quite while in excrucating pain! No drugs offered or given:eek: even though i ask!
then i am walked to the birth suit! have to stop three time ever though is a only 50 metres from my room i feel another gush when we get in the room and the monitor stop beeping! i start freaking out
and i feel the need to push! DH who is alway calm, fetches the midwifes and we find out baby has pooed inside me which is not good at all! OH and i'm fully dilated! Hooray! after panting through about 5 contractions i decide i was going to push and i didnt care what the stupid midwives said one of them was soo rude she argued with DH who never loses his cool to stop filming the birth i started to protest but had another contracton he just told her it was alright he will film the birth of his child! after 20 minutes of pushing Caleb was here i gave birth on all fours and could see when he came out he was not well the cord was around his neck by this stage the midwife that delivered him was yelling at DH to stop filming! He promptly :yes:told her where to go! they sucked all the gunk out of his nose and he was fine!born at 01:09pm on the 23/02/06 he weighed 8lbs 5OZ and was 52cm long he was a lump! but a beautiful lump all the same! the midwife who delivered him did not speak to me at all my whole stay at the hospital! the one assisting done the home vist 3 days after we were discarged and told us that all the babies she had delivered the parents never liked her, She was rude and arrogant and made us feel we had no control over the birth which was disappointing cause i had jacy at the same hospital and they were great! just shows it only takes 1 to ruin something we are never going back to that hospital!
