bubs not wanting to sleep

jake is usually a great sleeper, even wen he was teething, but for the last wk he has been screaming wen eva i put him down in the cot at nite....the only time he is settled is wen im rocking him or wen i lay next to him and hug him so he is on his side! im not sure wat to do can any1 help??

He's about 6 months right?

Apparently a common time for a big change in sleep patterns. There's lots going on developmentally too.

I should treat it like a growth spurt rather than suddenly make any big changes. If things are still problematic in a week or so then reassess.

Is he on solids? Getting enough?

Maybe it has something to do with the name! my jake is 13 months and does the exact same thing.

I am trying to get him to eat a bit more ( he is a terrible eater) during the day and stretch his bottles out a bit more.

Im not really sure though if your little man is only 6 months.

bubs did the same thing at 6 months.It went on for 2 weeks really badly then started to ease.I thought it was teething but there were no other signs.I think its just something they go through.Hope it passes soon.
