Has anyone used this stuff? I have been breastfeeding my 7 week old but always wants more so need todo top ups and was told Lactogen by the older midwives is best. I just dont know..

I thought that was the Lactose free formula made by Nestle sorry i am no help:laughing:

I used it with DS1 so over 7yrs ago, also at the advice of a CHN if I remember correctly. He had no problems with it but maybe if you are unsure make an appointment with your GP and discuss it with them first.

I can't offer the nutritional type advice you are looking for, but I have used this brand.

I bottle fed my twins as well as breastfeeding, just one formula bottle a day until 8 months... and then I weaned and they had formula for all milk drinks until 12 months (when I swapped to cows milk).

All this time I bought Lactogen as it was the cheapest one at my local store ($15 a can). At the most, my boys drank 2 1/2 cans a week, so you can see why I needed to reduce costs!

They grew well, strong and healthy and fit and are very rarely sick. I can recommend this brand on a personal level.
