He's just too big now...

So I tried cj in his green nappy tonight with a terry facewasher in it aswell as the hemparoo & microfibre insert. ( He was wetting through) He's just too big for it. The velcro wont stay done up!!

I dont want to get too many nappies that are bigger than the greens coz he wont be in nappies for too much longer & the plan was that once he was done with them Ella could go to greens full time intead of terry's part time & greens part time.

Any hoo, can anyone recommend a nappy for night times that will fit my 2 year old? He is a VERY heavy wetter.

How do the Baby Bloomers Hemp prefolds compare to Hemparoos? And also the baby bloomers nappies compared to Greens?

I don't know about prefolds, disposable user here - have you considered using disposables just for nighttime as it won't be for that much longer anyway?

I use sposies at the moment, but am wanting to switch.. he actually will wet through a huggies at night sometimes!! :o

Ok i have two of these & have been trialing them out recently as a nite nappy & they are great :thumbsup:
As day time nappies they are just as good with just a microfibre insert for us & DS is a heavy wetter. I think because the PUL she uses is heavier it tends to stop a lot more leaks compared to the Greens in some cases.
They arent as "pretty" or nice as the Greens as in the feel but the workmanship is great & they stand the test of explosive poos !!!! Boof was teething a few months back & these were being used & they worked a treat.
Im hoping to get a few more of these & some Sandra Stuffables now that Boof is outgrowing his Greens being a big boy.
The hemp inserts are the only ones i use as i got them cheap back when she had some for sale on ebay & they are really thirsty & hold heaps. As i said Boof is a really heavy wetter & we have the large & medium size which with a microfibre last us up to 12 or 13hrs as i found the other nite.

Forgot to add the pockets on the Baby Bloomers are roomier also which are great for Dads but also allow for extra stuffing much more than the Greens.

As i said i just wrap mine around a Greens microfibre for the nite nappy otherwise we just use the microfibre alone during the day in both but if we are out & about i just throw in the hemp to be sure :yes:

I love these as a night nappy. You can fit a trifold hemparoo and a greens microfibre in it plus room for more!
