You poor thing, what a nightmare for you!!!

You are an amazing and strong person for coping with all of that stress and trauma. You may feel like were letting your family and yourself down, but you didnt....you could have quit, or run away like you felt like doing, but you DIDNT!

What a wonderful mum you are! :hugs:

I've also posted a reply in your other thread, which I read first.

I just can't believe how your obs so disempowered you. Its disgusting.

I'm so sorry that you have been through so much. I know that you can't see this from the inside of the problem, but as an outsider, I wanted to say - none of this was your fault. I know you blame yourself and feel you should have been stronger/smarter/braver/more assertive - but you couldn't have done ANYTHING differently. Please don't put yourself through anymore than what you've already been through - I know, easier said than done.

I think you're amazing, I just dont' have the words to tell you how sorry I am.....

Thank you for all your responses. I am working through my issues with my wonderful psychologist (who has also experienced birth trauma, so she GETS it). I have done a lot of writing in the past month (letters etc) in regards to Declan's birth. My goal while on holidays from uni this month is to write to the ob, hospital and endocrinologist involved in Eithne's pregnancy.

My main reason for posting my stories in here is to get the message out to women to question and be assertive with their care providers.

Anyway thanks again.
