Hi!! ok heres my story.. ive been on implamon for about 6 years ive had 1 inserted every 3.. I had light AF or spotting once every month all the same around the same time each month aswell.. anyway 3 or 4 weeks ago i had a heaveier AF and i said to my hubby we should probably get a new one in or maybe just get it out.. we decided to get it out last week.. the doctor said i should have my AF within 7 days.. i haven't but ive been really tired last few days, ive been sick a little and today im real bloated and it feels "tight" down there.. not sore but ummmm i can't explain it.. last night i had a tiny bit of pain but it depended on how i was sleeping.. i woke up expecting to have my AF but im just really really bloated.. im thinking maybe after that heavier AF while i had my implamon in was a sign it wasn't working no more.. im thinking maybe i should get a pregnacy test and just test it anyway.. i don't know..

i would say it's your body geting back to normal, you'd have a lot of hormones racing around atm which could be making you feel that way.
Do a pregnancy test just to be safe cause you never know, good luck.

im going to bump my own thread.. well i still have lower abdominal cramping.. not real painful but its there.. no AF yet.. ive been reading a few other threads and some had said they had the same symptoms.. im guessing its stiil to early for a HPT but im going to see my gyno on tuesday.. i can't stop thinking about it.. ive even searched the internet seeing if it may be due to my implanon being removed recently.. some had one or two days of lower abdonamal pressure after and before there first AF but omg its nearly been a full week for me.. lol.. i have started a TTC diary hopefully someone with simular symptoms and are worried will read my diary and find some comfort.. :):flowerz::)

I had the implanon for 5 years, and had it out because I wanted my body to have a few months to get back to normal before the wedding. My doctor told me the same thing. I got it after 2 weeks, and I had the same symptoms as you. Just before I got AF, it honestly felt like my uterus was going to pop, it was uncomfortable. After AF came and went, I felt like normal! I hope that re-assures you!

tonyamanda - sorry, I read over my post and I didn't make myself very clear! I got AF two weeks after the implant was taken out. I had the pain and bloated feeling right up to AF. By about day 2-3 of AF the bloating etc went and by the end of AF I felt like normal!
