Hi there,

I had a caesarean in March and my scar is still a little red and tender. Doc said it would be fine to start normal exercise after 3 months ( like ab workouts ) but still feel a little scared to do that.

I would really like to start TTC in November so I would like to know a little about how your scar & body went after a C-Section in your subsequent pregnancies??

Hope this makes sense need to be  :)

I know my scar was still red and sore for at least the first 6 months... but I did have my scar rupture on day 2 and ended with an infection so maybe that is why it took so long??

Hey,

Mine is still numb and slightly tender after 11 months, I guess everyone's body is very different. I did a lot of walking in the first few months and resumed all my pre baby activities at around 7 months after the op.

I still had pain in my first csect scar up until I concieved DD when DS was 2.

After csect #2 it was still bleeding until 4 months after the op but by 6 months I had no pain (and have never had any numbness) until recently as the pressure of DD2 is starting to be felt. I only had 12 weeks between having DD1 and concieving DD2 and it hasnt caused any problems, just as i said its starting to hurt a bit now which im told is more to do with there being scar tissue from 2 previous csects than from having the two close together.
