what is your best recipe? Dh wants me to make it for dinner i know a nice stake and seafood on top but whats the sauce???

Surf n Turf my favourite. My recipe comes from our local pub's cook. Cook up the garlic in a bit of butter, add cream and cook sauce over heat. Add cheese singles (I know it sounds odd but they really work to thicken and make the sauce kind of set on the steak) I usually add two when cooking for DH and myself but add more if making a large amount. I usually use about 150-200 ml cream for two. I then cook the prawns in the sauce. If you like you can thicken the sauce with a little cornflour mixed with some cream (no lumps) and then add it bit by bit until the sauce is thick enough. But belive me on the singles they work well.

i do the same as this (but without the cheese singles!!!!)......it does sound a bit strange mochamumma..but perhaps i'll try it some day!:chef:

The only reason that happened was that was all the cheese I had in the house that day it works so I still do it that way :laughing:
