Circus

I am wanting to take my 17mth od DS to the circus which is near us at the moment.
DO you think he would be too young?
I'm wondering if he will enjoy it or get scared.
I'm not sure if he would sit there for so long.
I would love to take him.
Has anyone else taken their children to the circus at around the same age. If so, what were your experiences?

I have never taken my DS to a circus, but we have been to the zoo, and to barneys concert, and we are heading to the wiggles in august, I found that my DS 16 months, loved it all, he was more intrigued with all the different colours and noises. But each child is different, i guess it is just a trial and error thing, good luck and if you go, i hope you guys have alot of fun.
