teeth brushing problems

hi all,
my daughter is now 16 months old and we still have problems trying to brush her teeth. she screams every time i try to brush them and fights me. im worried the neighbours think im bashing her or something. if anyone can give me any tips on an easier way to do it that would be great as i live in qld the state with the worst teeth and i dont want hers to rot but im at my wits end.

I foun when my little girl was younger she was same , i found back then she wouldprefer a electric toothbrush an prefered if mum was doin her teeth to lol
i use those * Oral B Stages toother paste , there is a girly one an boy one a taste good an good for teeth
i have the more of the prob with washin her hair, she screams alot, would u have hits on how to wash a almost 4 yr old haior with out it turnin to world war 3 lol
think has somethin to do with ears, always hates water near them , its hard not to when in shower
