I was also wondering what I can do to increase my CM? I used to be fine in that department (tmi) but now it seems Im not getting as much!!
Any thoughts on what I can do??
What do you think about the green tea and evening primrose oil??
Anyone have any other secrets on something that worked for them that they would like to share?? :)

From what I have read: WATER WATER WATER
makes sense... the more hydrated you are, the more liquid you can produce.
(TMI)And you may do this already, but up until my last cycle i was only testing CM from the 'surface'. Now I am confortable with 'going inside' to check.... its so much easier to notice!!

That does make sense!! I havent been drinking as much lately and that maybe why I dont have as much cm!!
Thanks for that, ill have to make more of an effort now to drink more water, i should drink more anyway!!

haha, I was just posting about this in another thread.
I've been taking it really regularly for the last 2 months, and the change has been, well amazing.
I didn't ever 'notice' cm so I had no idea what everyone was on about - but I've been taking this mix called 'ultra omega' it's an evening primrose, linseed and fish oil in an optimum ratio of the fatty acids.. And since I've been taking it, I can clearly distinguish between the 'creamy' non fertile, cm, 'wet' or 'partially fertile' cm and the really fertile egg white cm.
I did take it off and on for months, but only when I took I started taking the 3 capsules every day, did I notice the difference.:yes:

I agree on the evening primrose. I can track my cycle be CM. I also drink a lot of green tea too, (with honey) so maybe that has something to do with it as well.
Basically, I find the less junk (processed food, alcohol, tobacco, anything else you know isn't great) and the more natural stuff (fruit, veg, lean meat, wholegrains and water) you put into your body the better it works, including on the cm front.

With the evening primrose oil ive read that you only take it from Cd1 untill you ovulate then stop... is that right? Do you do that as well?
Is it ok to drink green tea, and take your evening primrose oil and pre-conception vitamins all together? I feel silly asking but I dont want to go over the top with everything:o
Last cycle I drank 1-2 cups of green tea a day , I had so much cm that I had to put a pad on (sorry TMI ), my cm doubled.

I think the reason one would stop taking it as it helps the body to make prostaglandin, which help to soften and ripen the cervix, so its recommended to take it for the last 4 weeks of pregnancy too, as far as I can see...
But it wouldn't bring on labour unless your body was ready to go into labour.. so for a few reasons I wouldn't stress out about stopping immediately after conception, as the emby wouldn't implant for up to a week later, and there isn't a placenta that is crossing what is in your system to the babies sytem, untill after at least 5 weeks..
So if you were concerned, you would simply stop when you got an early BFP with an early test like first response, you know?
Although - I've noticed lots of the super expensive conception and pregnancy vitamins have other omega oils with similar bodily responses in it, so I would say personal research and it's up to each person if they considered say blackmores gold pregnancy safe, to consider what other things may be safe.

I take evening primrose everyday. I take it for pms as well as for extra cm. I am on a gender swaying diet.
I am taking pre-conception vitamins, evening primrose and I drink about 4 cups of green tea a day. I don't see why it would be an issue. None of those are toxic in a standard dose and you can drink quite a bit of green tea. It contains about 20mg of caffeine per cup whereas normal tea has about 50mg and coffee 60-120mg. It is recommended that you keep your caffeine intake below 200mg per day when ttc.
Percolated coffee
60-120 mg / 250mL cup
Formulated caffeinated beverages or ' Energy' Drinks
80 mg / 250 mL can
Instant coffee (1 teaspoon/cup)
60-80 mg / 250 mL cup
Tea
10-50 mg / 250 mL cup
Coca Cola
48.75mg / 375ml can
Milk Chocolate
20 mg / 100g bar
Percolated coffee

Hey opinionated, curiosity got the cat... which gender does an evening primrose and green tea sway for? A boy because of more CM maybe meaning quicker to the egg is the only thing i could think of but I am a bit clueless/:detective:

Wow its great to see other peoples excperiences with this!
I have only concentrated on CM this last cycle, and it seems to be most accurate for charting!
I don't like tea though.... So I think I might drink alot of water this month, and see if that helps! And it also ties in with my new healthy eating :)
