AF's After M/C and D&C

Hi All

I have the luurrvly AF visiting at the mo :banghead: . I m/c almost six weeks ago. Warning: this may be TMI but, AF started out light and very dark brown (which is normal apparently) now its heavier with some clots. I also noticed something I havn't seen before, a tiny clot but like skin colour? thats the best way to describe it. I have PCO and have read somewhere on this post that you can get this because of pco. However I have no pain compared to what my AFs used to be like before having DD!! So thats a good thing! :thumbsup:

Just wondering if any of you have experienced this?

Hello firstly I am so sorry for your loss :hugs:
I have had 2 miscarriages in the past 12 months. the first was from an early miscarriage (baby stopped growing at 7wks, I haemorraged at 9wks). I had to have an emergency D&C with this miscarriage. I remember my first AF was a bit funny with clots and things. My Dr suggested that it was just my bodies way of clearing the system - kind of like a cleansing cycle. My second was a late miscarriage (18wks 3dys). I had the same thing after the birth of my son Noah, massive haemorrage and emergency D+C. After this my first AF was similar.
I hope this helps alittle. I guess that is why they suggest you have a couple of 'normal' cycles before TTC again.

Thanks for that info. I pretty much thought it would be a "cleansing" AF.

I'm soooo sorry for your lossess :hugs :hugs: . My :fingerscrossed: that you will have a BFP soon and an univentful and boring 9 months!! :yes:
