Imagining pregnancy symptoms?

Hi everyone!
I'd love a little advice and chit chat about pregnancy symptoms, I've done alot of browsing on the forum and I seem to be confusing myself more and more!
I don't know whether I am wishing for symptoms and imagining them but at the moment I am 13dpo and for the past 5 days I have dark blue veins on my breasts that are becoming more prominent. They feel heavier and are tender on the sides and feel quite full.
I have also had cramping since ovulation on and off and some back pain a day ago. I havent had any prominent spotting but I did have some pinky mucous yesterday.
I know all these signs could point to traditional symptoms and the last thing I want is for a "Am I pregnant" thread so I guess what I would love to know is whether anyone has had similar symptoms but not ended up pregnant?
My husband and I BD about 4 days before O. We are not 'actively' trying at the moment.

I have had a few symptoms today and I wonder if I'm imagining it...they are: frequent urination (but then maybe I just drank a lot more water today), sensitivity to smells (but my colleague DID microwave a rather stinky pasta in the tea room), and I've been a bit constipated (but my vegie intake has been a bit slack of late).

Will let you know if this results in anything! I think I'm about 8 days past ovulation but I'm not sure.

I have the same problem, i have all those symptoms, plus nausea, but i have been to my doctors and done a urine test and got a BFN, so they said i was imagining them, i still think im preggers, if its not i dont know what it could be.

I took another test and it's still negative although I have had some sharp stabbing pains in my left boobie. Hmmmm if this is all psychological I have a very strong persuasive mind!

It could be pregnancy symptoms or it could be nothing.
The mind is an amazing thing and it is not uncommon to get all sorts of symptoms that turn out to be nothing. Also because you are ttc you may notice every little thing and pregnancy symptoms are so varied that is easy to start noticing changes in your body etc and attribute them to being pregnant. I have several pregnancy symptoms right now and i am not ttc (haven't even had sex in a long time :laughing:).
Having said that it could well be pregnancy :fingerscrossed: - Only time will tell.

So it turns out that the power of the mind is an amazing, confusing thing.
AF arrived last night with a vengeance, I don't think I have ever felt this uncomfortable or had this much pain.

i found when i was trying for my bub i had such a heightened sense of awareness of all my bodies changes. it took me 14months to get preg and i've concluded that my body is full of aches and pains i'd rather not know about haha

how did you go?? god i think im imaging the same. ive been nauseous on and off for 3 days now. i had a MC june 10th, d and c june 12th. been TTC ever since. i have had dry mucus for 8 days now, so not quite sure whats going on. im quite over it all i think. its so stressful. i think im putting the ideas in my own head????

sorry for TMI QUESTION!! hi i was actually wondering cause i can't remember do you get that mucus stuff on your panties early in the pregnancy or am i just ovulating? cause i have had minor cramps and tightness with the stuff since monday.. :confused:

:iagree:This is how it has always been for me - except when i have been pregnant i find i get mucus around the time af would be due instead of being dry.

yeah i have no idea about my body either!between IUDs the pill etc, i know im not regular (i think 6 weekly)

Well i still feel the same i have had a blood test but havent got the results back yet, my aunty had the same thing happen to her, all her tests were negative, nine mths later she had her son. I thought my AF was coming on friday i had cramping like it was going to but i just had light brownish coloured spotting for two days sorry TMI, i think ill just ride it out and see if i get fat haha.

let us know how it goes hun.. i still have pressure and tiny bit of cramping and its been over 8 days.. however now i feel like i need to pee (sorry tmi) even after going to the toilet.. and they are long wees i haven't even had lots of liquid today.. but its still too early for me to HPT.. im going to the docs to ask for a blood test tomorrow.. hopefully everything goes well for you :) :flowerz::)

sorry for double posting but i have a bit of an update... its too early for me to have a blood test but while the doc was giving me a smear she said she notices that my uterus is bluish which can be the sign of early pregnancy.. when i asked her what else it could mean she just looked at me.. she had no answer.. but she wants me to wait TWO weeks before i have a blood test just to be 100%.. :detective:

i hope you don't mind me joining your thread.
i am not TTC but have a late period and some symptoms.

I have 20 day cycles so know it is unlikely that i am fertile and we use condoms. However i am now at day 28 of my cycle and still no AF.

i have taken a test and it was a BFN.
I have PCOS but my cycles have always been 20 days when not on the pill.

really hoping you ladies get some answers soon and a BFP !
