Child Care - Aspley, Chermside

Hi all,
I am currently looking for a new centre for my 3 year old daughter as I am not happy with the current centre that she is at (although i really don't want to move her from her friends) :crying:
I have rung:
Bright Beginnings
The Prince Charles Hospital
Guppys
Hamilton Road
Chatterbox Aspley
and was wondering if anyone has any comments about them??

Hi, sorry to hijack your thread but I am really interested in anyone who takes their little one to Chatterbox Child Care Centre in Aspley. All positive and negative feedback would be really appreciated! I actually have been to a few so far. Thanks so much for your help with this!

My DD (now 11) went to Bright Beginnings all of her childcare years-we were very happy with them-they had a very low staff turnover which we found was a real positive.

DDs best friends mum whose 2 oldest kids went to BB with mine has her youngest next door in Hamilton Rd and absolutely raves about it.

It really comes down to the vibe you get personall on visiting I guess.

I've worked at Bright Beginnings and found it to be a little run down, and lacking the "fresh" feel, toys were old etc. I guess it really depends on what your priorities are though. Majority of the staff members were lovely, a couple were a little incapable of dealing with the "gross side" of children eg. bodily waste! which made things a little tricky. But the directors have run the place for a long time and they have their heads screwed on!

Go with your gut. Every child is going to react different to an environment so very difficult to make a decision based on other people's experiences. Unfortunately!
