TTC While Breastfeeding

Im still Breastfeeding my 8 month old son, and AF has not returned yet. Im just wondering what my chances of falling pregnant are? Also - it may be a stupid question - is there any way to tell if I am ovulating even though no AF?

It's just impossible to predict... it's around this age that people do start falling pregnant, usually you will ovulate and then get a period , unless you fall pregnant.

It's unlikely you are ovulating if you aren't menstruating... but that doesn't mean you coudln't ovulate at any time.

I know quite a few people who've fallen pregnant when their babies are 8-10 mths.. but also know just as many who didn't ovulate until they totally weaned.

So really it's just impossible to say but it's certainly not out of the question that you'd fall pregnant now.
