I am on my third pregnancy, with a 9 year old and a 16 month old. I had some morning sickness with my second, but nothing like this time! I am sick all day. I have just taken my first maxolon, and i'm waiting to see what it does.

The weird thing that i wanted to ask others their experience with, is that i am so hypersensitive to light, touch, motion, visual things, eg tv ads, just basically every sense related thing. It was raining while i was driving the other day, and the water moving across the windscreen was making me soooo sick.

I can't stand my cat to sit on my lap, my husband has this habit of patting me, which just about makes me hurl in 2 second flat! it is driving me crazy. I have to drive everywhere we go, because it's the only way i survive the trip.

I even have trouble with noises. Everything has to be quiet, or I just can't stand it. all these sensory things get me quite distressed, as well as sick.

Has anyone else had similar experiences??

cheers,
Liz

Hi there:wave:

Oh boy do I know how you are feeling Im 28 weeks now and suffered the same symtoms from week8 through to 18. I had to have alot of time off work and stay home and I couldnt even enjoy watching television as it made me dizzy. I can comletely understand the light, motion, noise and visual things oh and smell but not touch. My doctor gave me maxalon too but I cant say it really helped the first time I took it was on my way home from the doctor I couldnt wait I was driving home and I thought it could be a magic cure and I was in peek hour traffic and vomited all over myself and car after 3 mins from taking it sorry TMI.

I did keep taking it but it just stopped most of the vomiting but The nausea stayed all day long! and I couldnt even :barf: so for me that was kinda worse. My doctor suggested to try and take it before you start feeling really crook if that means setting the alarm and taking it a 4am I guess its worth it but it works differently for different people I hope it works for you, I know how your feeling. Hang in there it gets better after 18 weeks for me there was no sign of all day sickness I have my moments but they are just moments now and after the all day sickness morning sickness is a breaze and I can even watch Tv now !! he he

Take care congratulations on your pregnancy:smiliedance:
