Thought I would post for those of you who don't know about the great program offered by the Qld Art Gallery for children from 18 months up until 4 years. They run sessions on Tuesdays which are FREE (yay). Each month has a different theme - one we went to a few months ago was "nests" - the kids made a big nest on the floor, went for a walk through the gallery to see a display of nests, then made individual birds nests in pie dishes to take home. They are really well organised.
You have to book in advance, and can only book one session per month. They used to be really hard to get into, but they have recently increased the number of sessions they are doing each month so it is easier to book. So if you are interested call 38407255. I rang this morning and was able to make bookings up until November. (December is full already and they are having a break in January.)
