I want to make a ladybug cake for my boy's first birthday because he has a favorite book about a ladybug and i think it will be cute.
Do you think its too girly for a boy to have a lady bug cake?
What sort of cakes could you do for a 1st birthday?

Not at all, in fact my good friend had a lady bug cake for her son's first birthday. It was green and blue though. It looked awesome and was oh so yummy!

i just made a stand of mini cupcakes, pretty dull really, ran out of time.

If that is what he would like, why does it matter what someone else will think.

Girls don't "own" ladybugs and butterflies" just as boys don't "own" cars and trucks.

What's girly about a ladybird? It's BUG!

There are ladybugs that are orange or yellow and black if you want something a little more masculine in colour.
