anyone actually been pregnant but neg test results??

im on day 29 and about to start day 30, and i have no AF. my last cycle was 24 days, so im pretty sure im late! LOL. i have done 2 tests, one yesterday and one this morning, with fmu and they both have come back negative. i have cramps like i am about to start my period, but i have had that for days! maybe even a week. i just don't know whats going on! :hair:

just want to know if anyone has actually been pregnant, but have done tests and they have come back negative? this just isnt the norm for me to go more than 30 days without a period. i came off the pill end of april, so im thinking it might be coming off the pill thats screwing my body around. this would be my 3rd cycle, but yeh just a bit frustrating. grrr. im going to the docs tomrrow, but would love to hear from some other ladies to see if this has happened to them. thanks!!

I am a mother of three and a student nurse/midwife and yes it is possible. Some women produce only a small amount of the HCG (pregnancy hormone) needed to have a positive preg test. The doc will do a blood test, but for the same hormone. I have a neg urine test and a neg blood test at 5 days late. I went in a 10 days later with severe craps and the blood test was positive but the urine was still neg.

I had a BFN when pregnant at 3 weeks gestation with my twins, only saw a BFP on the 1st day of my missed period.

I hope you get your BFP.

in an extreme case... lol it took my DP's mum 4 months to find out she was UTD with him! then had him at 6 months!
so she says she was only technically preg for 2 months... lol

But yeah i'd say its possible

Sure have. It could also be possible if you're having a big variation in your cycle that you ovulated late and thats why its not showing up yet... Like I did with their pregnancy - more than a week later than expected, my due date is the 10th based on growth compared to my dates which puts bub due on the 1st... hoping this makes sense :laughing: :D
