Trying for a particular sex

Hi there everyone,

Im new to this website just had a few questions if someone could help me.

We have just started to try for a little boy (i dont mind either way but my DF longs for a boy so i thought we'd give this timing thing a go)

my question is:-
my last period started on the 31 may 2009 and my cycle is 29 days long. we had the BD on the 12th June, 14 June Ovulated on the 15th June and BD again on the 17th and 18th June.

just wondering if you work out those dates we had BD 3 days before and then 24 hours before ovulating then 48 hours after ovulating, so according to the experts for a girl you have BD 3-4 days before O then abstain so what happens if you dont abstain and keep BD on those dates? what sex am i more likely to have conceived? any ideas?

I don't know...
dd1 we would've bd at ovulation...girl
DD2 - bd at oulation...girl.
DS - would've been at least 5 days before ovulation that we bd (were preventing but no hormonal contraception and had two very sick children) and it's a boy.

I know some swear that the time you bd with ovulation you get a certain gender but it's been total bs for me (not that we ever tried for anything more than a baby)
