Third Bubhub match!!!

Woohoooo Bubhub! Can't believe there are three matches already and this forum hasn't been up and running that long. Hope the lucky ladies come back and share their news. A big hooray for Rain who continues to pop in even though she has made a match, just to cheer others on, and provide support to recipients AND donors - good on you Rain, so often people just use forums like this as a donor drive-through and don't return to give others hope or support or insight once their own mission is completed. If we all did that, there wouldn't be forums like this or like AED or the other donor/recipient support groups, so thankyou for your ongoing investment.

Thankyou Bubhub for supplying an area for talk and support and advertising - Admin is so supportive behind the scenes and always ready to take action on sensitive issues.

Now we can sit back and wait nervously for news of the first baby - awesome!

That is absolutely fantastic news - and thanks everybody for the positive comments!

We are hopefully going to add some permanent info on Egg Donation to the main Bub Hub site sometime in the not-to-distant future and we'll highlight it in our enewsletter too so that we can hopefully spread the word even further to potential donors out there in Australia

Peta - yes Rain and Mrs Lovely were number one and hope the other two come back and make their announcements....probably better private-wise I guess, but would love to keep this thread, or start another as a sticky so we can see what kind of success bubhub has, very difficult to find out after the fact.

aww thanks Cindy for your lovely words :o . Of course I want to be here to chat about egg donation! Without this forum (or you) we wouldn't have our donor-angel and be planning to make a bub before the year is out :) I may not visit often, but do try to support where I can.

And you're right...it won't be long beofre our lovely Mauve will be announcing a new match. :fingerscrossed:

Well we might have been the first ED match on Bubhub, but we are yet to cycle. Thankfully our gorgeous donor-to-be is very patient and willing to wait a little longer. I have a little health crisis that I need to deal with first and will probably end up cycling in Nov/Dec, so maybe we can be cycle buddies?

And don't you worry Cindy...when the time comes, there'll be plenty of updates from me :yes:

Yeah I must admit that since starting out on this journey I've mentioned casually to a few friends that I am becoming an egg donor, and then just leave it at that, with the thought that if they ask me more about it, I could then give them more details and perhaps get someone else thinking about doing it too. So far no bites but you never know who else might be a potential donor but never occurred to them to do it!
