Babysitter Review Needed

We are coming to Toowoomba in August for a wedding, just wanted to know if anyone has used the Bunyip Kids Babysitting Service and your thoughts. My son will be 10 months old.

Hey!

I havent used the service but looked into joining up when I was studying my early childhood education degree in Toowoomba at USQ.

In the end the money from working in childcare casually was better so I did that (I had childcare qualifications before doing my degree).

I had a blue card due to doing placements at schools for my degree but this was the only thing the service asked for.

As far as I know they NEVER checked any of my refernces.

This could of changed from when I looked into it (about 2 yrs ago) but I dont think I would be comfortable leaving my 10month old with some stranger from an agency...

In saying that Im not sure what else you could do? Is it possible you could advertise in the local paper for a babysitter for the night and interview/check her references yourself?!

Unfortunately all my great Uni friends have not graduated - like me - so none of us are left in Toowoomba. Otherwise I could reccomend you a GREAT babysitter with LOTS of experience and qualifications!

If you are stuck - let me know and I could help you out as I do come home most weekends to see DP! :)
