I am so damned ****ed off right now!!!!! Grrrrr!!! My ex, who swears he wants to be in his sons life has just told me yet again that he isn't coming to visit his son. He swears blind every week that he wants to come and see cooper cuz he misses him so much and bla bla bla. Every weekend he has some sort of excuse we he cant make it. But yet in the same phone call he tells me how blind he got on the weekend or some other story of some big outting he has done over the weekend. I am sorry but if he cant come and see his son because he is broke, maybe if he gave up the booze for a weekend or two he would be able to come and see him!!! I am just so annoyed! He came to see cooper when he was three days old and when he was 10 days old and i took cooper down to see him when cooper was 7 weeks old. he is now 14 weeks old. I amjust sick of hearing how much he wants to be in coopers life when it is so obviously no true!!! I honestly think that he is just saying all this **** so it looksgood to me, he told me the other day that he gets jealous when i am with other people, i mean wtf we haven't been together for 9 months for crying out loud!! and aparently he already has a g/f who he has been seeing casually for the past six months so what right does he have to try and control my friends etc. Sorry i know i am blabbering on, but i am just so sick of it

I know exactly how u feel. i go through something very similar to you.
My advice is to just enjoy your son. If his father wants to be a good father tell him to prove it. I dont make any effort anymore with my dd's father. if he wants to see her he can organise to come and see her. I am sick of chasing him around just so he can spend some time with her.
When it comes down to it all the love that cooper needs will come from you and ur family. Cooper doesnt need to be stuffed around too.

I suppose I should be posting this is on my own thread of "help I am depressed",
but I see a friend in need,

Darling I believe most of us single mums have been where you are at, we get ****ed of with these men not owning up to their responsibliities.

I agree with all the girls responses...... He is of a different breed, we need to realise we did not pick the right guys to have children to.

But guess what!!!! They have the best mums they could have wished for
