Help!

I just dyed a whole heap of my sons clothes by not realising that my purple sheet was my new one not my old one!

does anyone have any home recipes for removing pinkness! it wouldnt bother me if i had a daughter but i dont really want my son in hot pink pants!

Hey Michelle :)

Not a home remedy but you can buy some stuff at the supermarket called "runaway" which takes all the run colour out of stuff. Might be worth a try. Not sure if your supermarket there will have it, but I've seen it in Woolies here. It's around $10 from memory.

I did the very same thing a few months ago, except i had a red shirt in the wash! Oops...

We tried EVERYTHING from the shops to get the pink out of his clothes - unfortunately none of them completely removed it, the best we could get was a pale pink. We then soaked the clothes in Napisan for ages and ages... still no luck! Eventually my mum just bleached them for me - so i had a bunch of white wondersuits, where once they were yellow, blue, green etc. What a bugger. Luckily he grew fast and we got to buy all new bigger clothes a few weeks later and i have never EVER EVER since then washed baby clothes amongst any other kind! He gets his own load of washing every time just to be sure!

If the pink doesn't come out you could always buy some dye and have a go yourself at another colour. How about tie-dyed jumpsuits? :)

well i manage to get some bleach of a neighbour so they are all in bleaching, most of the stuff was white anyway, and i dont care if the wondersuits are white!

the main problem i had were his really good white reebok pants were now PINK!

Well i just bleached everything and almost everything came white again... other than a wondersuit which is light pink and 2 flannels which didnt change...
