Muesli Bar Recipes?

Can any bub hubbers offer any muesli bar recipes :chef: ,
I have decided I want to make my own , free of all those icky preservatives:thumbsdown:

does anyone know about how to make the yogurt topping for muesli bars aswell?

Hi Vicsta,

Here's a recipe I found on the internet - haven't tried it yet, but plan to one of these days as my DH takes museli bars to work all the time. This one is a gluten free one, but I'm assuming you could just substitute normal flour and museli instead.


Gluten free museli bars.

350g gluten free untoasted muesli.
200g dates chopped.
1 tsp mixed spice.
1/2 cup golden syrup, heated.
3/4 cup gluten free plain flour.
2 eggs, lightly beaten.

mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add eggs and golden syrup, mix throughly until all ingredients are combined and sticky. Press into a lasagne size tray, approx 2cm thick. Bake in a moderate oven 180c for approx 30 mins, or until golden.
