Please help!

I tried the cc technique as displayed here:
http://www.askbaby.com/Baby-sleep-training.htm

The first night he woke @9:15 and cried through til 10pm to which he slet through til 5am!! the following day he woke and when we went to check i fed him (it was 10:30pm) he slept through til about 3:45 and then cried and went back to bed within 15 mins...

I kinda gave up as Ive been so tired to do it during the night but just wanted to ask:

If I am doing this should I not feed him at 10pm (I normally feed because during the day he is not drinking the rec 18oz)

If I DON'T feed at 10pm when is the earliest i should feed him? (During the day he normally eats at 10am,2pm, and 5pm and has his last bottle at 6pm an then bed).

If by the 3rd day he is still waking how long should i wait? 15-20mins??

If the link i showed is the wrong technique to be using can someone suggest a better one!

P.s my son is 9mths and has no teeth so dont think he's teething just yet...

HELP!

Thanks everyone!

Hi.
I would read the technique, but it's for some reason taking forever to load (my comp can be a bit slow).
I wouldn't feed at 10/10.30pm, however - if it suits when you go to bed and then he sleeps through until 5amish then it would probably work out fine for you to do that. For the purpose of initial CC though I would remove all sleep associations. ie. waking and getting (.)(.) or bottle to go back to sleep. I would think if he woke (without having a feed at 10ish) from 2am (having been 8hrs from his last bottle) then feed him and he will probably push it out more and more into the morning for you eventually.
My DD has her last feed close to 7.30am and from 3am I just give her a feed (.)(.) and put her back in bed awake and she goes back to sleep until at least 6am. I was getting her up and having 40-60mins awake time before putting her back to bed (so she understood that we aren't reverting back to booby to sleep). If she woke/wakes anytime before 3amish then I don't feed her. She usually goes 10mins or so if she gets worked up and then back to sleep.
I've read and it was echoed by the child health nurse who gave me my CC technique that babies from 6mths wake because of sleep associated issues and nothing to do with hunger, but it is perfectly normal to expect 8-10hrs of straight sleep as then their little tums are empty(ing).

Oh wow thats really helpful thanks so much!!!

I never thought of it that way but im going to try the 2am thing.

With regards to the 2am thing, say he wakes at 1:55 should I still wait the 15-20mins and then feed, or go in straight away and feed him??

If im feeding at 2am is it ok for his next feed to be 10am? (thats normally where a bottle and breakfast is). So 8hrs is a normal time for them to wait for food? ok i'll remember that...

Would you be o kind to post what CC method you are using please??

Thanks so much for replying, just wanted to say its gr8 to have somewhere to discuss this as i always feel a bit worried to do so as know not everyone understands CC and its hard enough as is...

Sure - 1.55am I would feed. Start your normal day as you would from when he next wakes up for the morning.
I posted my story here http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=262994
if you would like to have a read.
