I have a 15 month old. I first realised she had reflux at 8 or 9 weeks, but I had a hard time getting my GP and Lactation Consultant to listen to me. She wasn't a 'crying' reflux bub, They just kept telling me she was a 'happy chucker'. It wasn't until she was 6 months old and underweight that we were sent to a Paediatrician who finally diagnosed her with reflux.

Anyway, she is much better with her reflux now, but I believe that she has trained her self not to drink much. I offer her cows milk twice a day (morning and night). But she'll only drink about 100mls each time then rejects it. I offer water several times throughout the day. She'll have the occassional sip, but mostly rejects it. She drinks around 150mls of water a day.

Surely she can't survive on that little liquids? According to my CHN she should be drinking 600mls of milk:eek:. I've tried all the 'naughty' things like juice, cordial and milo. But she rejects it all.

Is this normal for a reflux toddler? Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get her to drink more?
