when he does a poo and we change him yesterday and today (it goes away after the warm bath though) he seams to have what i would call a heamarroid.

a bit of skin out side where it should be and looks a bit bruised

he eats fruit now, alot of water. (minimul vegies even when i hide them :hair:) and a wide varriety of gluten free foods.

I would get it checked out just to be sure it's nothing to worry about.

Im sure they can get them, if thats what it is. All it is from is pushing the poo to hard when it doesnt want to come out. Nothing embaressing.

yep toddlers can get them my dd gets them and has since a baby, she has lots of bowel troubles despite having a very good diet. Just use anusol cream and that should help.

yep they can get them for sure, my brother when he was a newborn had gotten one. have u noticed any constipation?

best way to check if its a hernia is have a look at it when he is crying if it bulges out more i'd get it looked at.

Too much fruit can actually be bad for the poo... it makes it less bulky so there's nothing to push against the bowel wall to set off the little muscle contractions that move poo through the bowel, and that means you have to strain more to get it out, even though it's not what you'd expect constipation to look like. (It can make poo long, thin, and ribbon-like).

Try to introduce more of the insoluble fibres like grains, rice etc to balance out all the fruit.

ETA:Just saw that he's gluten free. You might need to check what other things he can eat to get more of the bulking fibre, rather than from grains etc if he can't have them.

a little psylium husk (it's gluten free) is great for this, bulks up the poo, but makes it soft. I started on it after birth when I had haemerroids and have continued. Get it from a healthfood shop, or woolworths. It can be mixed in water, juice, yogurt, porridge at breakfast. Just keep the water up. 1/2 to 1 teaspoon would be plenty for a toddler.
