ok heres the story

we already have 1 baby (nearly 1) we both want another 2 babies however i want at least 6 babies altogether but DH only wants 3, i grew up with a big family, My great Grandmother had 17 children my nan had 15 children and my dad had 5 children. i loved having family get togethers as a child as their was always someone to play with. But DH only had 3 brothers and wasent close to any of them,

So my Question is what can i say to him to make him understand that i want a big family. i dont want to pressure him but its what i have always wanted....am i being selfish in wanting a big family???

Why discuss it now?
Just take it one bubs at a time.:smiliedance:
I dont think talking about it now will help any as things change in the future.
Good luck.:fingerscrossed:

hmmmmmmmmmmm, in my experiece husbands can sometimes take a little persuading. I agree with other adivce, take it one baby at a time. I'm from a big family, I have 3 siblings and 35 immediate cousins. We all grew up together and it's wonderful having so many people to count on. You're not selfish at all!

You may be able to ask him why he only wants three weigh up all the pros and cons. I am having a hard time asking for three might have to find a new husband I reckon. ha ha

I have always wanted four children, OH wants three, but when we were in the hospital after I had just given birth to my first, he proclaimed that he wanted 10 children! LOL! At the time, I was like "Are you kidding?? I am NEVER doing this again!". Of course, now I can't wait to have my next. I guess I am lucky because OH is very pliable! All I can say is take it one bub at a time, and hey there's always "accidents"! :devil6:
