Hi there

I am having real "issues" with my chart this month - it is doing my head in & I can't seem to find any info either on FF or google, so I hope there may be someone out there who has experienced something similar.

I'm onto month 4 of charting & the previous 3 have clearly showed the temp spike after O with temps staying high until AF.
This month there's no clear O day, though there was a BIG drop at day 22 & I did OPK that day with 2 lines exact same shade (I don't normally do OPK's BTW) I'm now at day 28 & temps are still low, like pre O. Since coming off the pill last October my cycles have only varied from 28-35 days. And I take temp same time every day as soon as alarm goes off.

So techinically AF is due anywhere from now within the next week, however I have absolutely no usual PMS symptoms, which I always get ie sore (.)(.), bloating, moody etc..

I wonder if this is an anovulatory cycle? Or maybe O was day 22 & there's just not enough progesterone there for high temps? Oh & my battery is not flat on thermometer - an electronics store tested it for me.

I am hoping somebody may have experienced similar or has some ideas on what is happening. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks, Riss :flowerz:

Ris, I had a peek at your chart. Your right, it does look like your body tried to ovulate on CD22. You had the temp dip and spike, positive opk, fertile cm but your temps didnt sustain which makes me suspect that your body hasnt o'd yet. It could mean that you might have a long cycle this one and might still O, or it could be an annovulatory cycle.

Our bodys definately challenge us with charting dont they, and make things hard.... all I can suggest is next month go for the progesterone blood test 7 days after your positive OPK and see if you have ovulated. Maybe a few months of being tested and checking your progesterone levels at what you think is 7dpo might help with some insight into what your body is doing.

Goodluck.

Thanks for your reply craftmum, I think I will just have to wait out & see what happens in the next week or so.

Thanks again :flowerz:
