I have a silly question to ask......(this is my first month on charting my temps)

After O does your temp go back down to normal or does it stay higher than normal? If it stays higher is the a good sign of a BFP?

Unsure..... my temps were around 36.2-36.5 then shot up to 36.7-36.9 when O came, now I'm 9 DPO and my temps have still been up around 36.7-36.8.

Is this a good sign or am I hoping to hard?? I hate this waiting game!!!:banghead:

I am useless with charting and stuff. I'm pretty sure that it's a good sign that ur temp is up though. Just wanted to wish you the best of luck!!:fingerscrossed:

Hi Rachael - yep it is a good sign. Your temp stays up if you are pregnant or will go back down just before AF if you are not. :) Mine stayed up for 12 days last month and down on day 13 when I got my AF  Good Luck I hope they stay up!

sorry, but at 9dpo, your temp should still be relatively high, pg or not. It usually drops just before AF is due, or with some people when AF actually starts. If the temp stays up past your AF due date, that is a good sign.

If your temp hasn't fluctuated higher than that you should probably invest in a Ovulation tester kit for at home some people just don't fluctuate enough in temps to be able to tell.:)

Like I said SOME PEOPLE's temps just don't fluctuate enough to get definite results. Every woman is different.

I have been putting my temps in fertility friend and i have noticed a big jump in my temps, and I use maybe baby to help.

But is it true your temps will go up the day of ovulation, or does go up 2 days before?

My temp shot up last tues and stayed around but on maybe baby it was all dots. But on Friday my temps were still high and ferns appeared and I noticed CM and then on Sat my temp went up even higher and more ferns on maybe baby
We BD on Friday so I hope I havent missed the boat!!

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure your temp jumps higher the day after o, so waiting for the jump in temp is too late (I think you look for the jump to confirm that you did o). But from what you've said, your temp jumped higher again and you got ferning on Sat, and EWCM, so I'd say this is probably when you o'd, so you might be lucky!
