Hi all,

Just been looking through the Cloth nappy section... Trying to get my head around it all

Ive seen that newborn probably isn't very appropriate to use Cloth due to the amount of nappies you go through with them.. So just wondering, what age is a good age to start using Cloth?

Thanks :D

i've been using cloth since my bub was born, mind you, he wasn't tiny at 4kg but you can get small sized mcns.
i didn't find the amount too much, actually i've found the washing etc. suprisingly easy! he's a pretty good bub though

but it's up to you when you start using cloth!

good luck with everything

love emma.

I started at about 2 weeks of age, during the day and by about 6 weeks over night as well. I bought 2 boxes of huggies newborn and used about a box and a half.....

i started at birth but had a combination and just gradually used more MCN's once I got the hang of it all

I started fulltime cloth at birth and had no problems. My DD was 4kg though, so a smaller bub may be different. A lot of people seem to use prefolds on newborns.

I'm going to start at birth with this bub, but any time is a good time to start :D

Every sposie that isn't in land fill is a bonus!

Whenever you're ready, I think! I started slowly at a few weeks old, just a couple a day and went from there. Still had to build the stash though and find out what worked for us, so it took a little while.

Do it, you'll love it!!
