Can anyone recommend a great playground on Southside of Brisbane that also has an off-leash dog area? I recently drove past one which had the playground very close to the dog area and for the life of me can't remember where it was now.

The Brisbane City Council website lists dog parks by suburb. They don't specify which also have playgrounds, unfortunately, but the list might jog your memory as to where you were when you saw it.. maybe. I only know of a couple of dog parks on the north side (and none with playgrounds..).

There is one in Meadowbrook, on the road the hospital is on...Armstrong drive I think, anyways follow it all the way down....

There is off leash area, enclosed, then there is a playground with loos across from that, a lake on the same side, and another playground down a bit. Also has great walking track/bike track.

Kingston has one, with a small playground beside it, just off Juers Street, heading towards the back of Kingston high.

Slacks Creek also has one...... not sure of the street name though.

Beenleigh also has one...

I think from memory the kids playground was close to the off leash area at the carina/carindale/belmont one.

The one's I know of are at Tingalpa and another one at Colmslie or Balmoral, not sure which suburb you would consider it in. It's by the Brisbane river, has a kids playground and a dog's off leash park which is really good, I am going to take my pup there once she's finished getting her next lot of needles done
