Hi

Just wondering if anyone uses the Mountain Buggy - Urban Double pram or one of the Mountain Buggy products.

How do you find it?

Hi Aim

Kate ( my aunty) has one and i've used it a few times now, mainly with Charlotte. She found it wasn't all that good for newborn but didn't get the bassinette option- not that you need that with Poppy anyway. Can you get a child seat?? for number 2?

Kate loves it, it was pretty easy to wheel about and didn't find it quite as wide as some 3 wheelers.

If your back in coota soon you should have a go of it!

Thanks Anna. I am looking at getting the bassinette and other accessories with it. I like the idea that it is very compact for a side by side and you have so many options. Thinking ahead I know but I am going to TTC again in November and at the moment while we have some money I though I would start looking.

Unfortunately my pram was a cheapy and does not have the seat to go with it. I thought I would opt for the ceapy for the first baby and then by a better double.

I've got a MB urban - single. I love it. I didn't have the bassinet for DD as a newborn and she was fine in it. The multi-postion layback function is great too as you can adjust it to whatever height you like. They haven't got as much padding as other brands but that's what makes them lighter. We put a sheepskin in ours and it was great. I highly reccomend it. With the double you can put the bassinet on one side...i think they're great!

I have a MBU. I used to really love it but I'm coming to the conclusion that it's not really worth the money you pay. Right from the start one of the tyres has had a slow leak in it, so we're constantly pumping it up. Then there's the pump.... that lasted about 6 months and broken, due to no fault of ours. The bassinet option is great for newborns, comfy. There's not alot of back support IMO with the 'normal' sitting arrangement. The other thing I don't like is that there's no clip to keep it compact while folded. Good luck with your choice.

im a nanny for twins who have a Mountain buggy urban twin pram. I take them for lots of walks and found it great for walking. My only problems with it is that the wheels are always having flats and that it's quite bulky but that could be because they have 2 other twin strollers that are so much lighter/compact (being strollers). So overall it's pretty good. Really good on sand too.
