Finished Ovulating - Now Waiting

I thought I would start this thread up for all out there who just finished ovulating and now waiting for BFP.

I just finished ovulating on the weekend, and now I'm playing the waiting game, it's so frustrating I just want to go out and buy a pregnancy test and test all the time. (But I won't). I wish there was a way to find out if I was pregnant straight
away!!! :banghead:

:fingerscrossed: this will be my lucky month, it would be nice not to get up every morning and do my temperature.

Thought it might be interesting for this post - I heard that if you're using Maybe Baby, and the ferning stays in the days following O, it can be an indicator of pregnancy (I think it actually says that on the instructions). This could be the earliest possible way to tell!!!

That's interesting, I'm using Maybe Baby and I'm back to pebbles & dots, but last month just before I had my AF it was ferns.

Lets hope I won't need to keep on using my maybe baby any more, and I can put this theory to the test and will let everyone else know.

thats interesting, when I fell pg with my son, I thought we had waited long enough past O, not to have a chance, but the next day I had full ferns, and found out two weeks later I was pg....... Now this time around the same thing has happened, guess I will know for sure in a few days time.

Oh - the dreaded 2WW! Dont you hate it! The anticipation of the inevitable BFN, and then the unexpected BFP which you really were expecting but are still shocked and surprised to see on that pee stick... :fingerscrossed:

I've been there quite a few times now. Right now I'm just waiting for hubbie to get home and begin TTCing again - but I will certainly be hitting this thread when my turn comes round again :thumbsup:

I'll join the club I have 5 days to go and yes I am insane

a week of nausea and sensitivity to smells (which has eased the last 2 days)
Now my breats are REALLY sore (kept waking up when I rolled onto my tummy in the middle of the night!)

Of course I am going to test tomorrow but wait til Monday to hopefully know for sure. :fingerscrossed:

The TWW has to be THE most painful and long period of time I have ever experienced!! I can be all cool and calm and casual about TTCing until the TWW and then I am obsessed. Even when I am convinced we have missed the egg I still think 'oo, is that a symptom??' . . . 7 more days to go

This 2WW is dreadful.

I'm 6DPO and I have another 6 days to go how will I survive. I can't stop thinking about it either, at this stage I start to think 'oh no I hope we didn't miss the egg'.

Well I tested today and a BFN.

I keep searching the net for info on when you might get your first BFP.... Its so frustrating - some people get it on 10DPO and I get excited and then the next story is someone who didnt get it to 20DPO. Arrrrgh

4 days to go.......

well, I just got back from the supermarket, bought some tests, got a three pack, can I wait until the morning??? I will be 13 dpo tomorrow, but the test sais can be used up to 5 days before your period is due, and any time of day, so why should I wait, maybe I should do it now????

I had AF on the 7th and i think i Oed on tuesday or wednseday..we BDed on tues morn so do you think we did it at the right time?:confused:

nuddle, you should definitely wait. I've got myself into trouble not using first morning urine. I got my BFP at 10dpo using first morning pee. Then a couple of days later, I did another test in the afternoon, and got a negative result. I burst into tears and got all worked up. The next morning, I did another test with first morning urine and got a nice BFP again. I'm all for testing before AF, but I'll only ever do it in the morning from now on.

Oh nuddle - definitely wait. There's nothing worse than that empty feeling in your gut when you only see one line. No matter how many times you squint at it, hold it in different lights etc etc. Ive been so obsessed that Ive even pulled the HPT apart! Yep - I put my fingers all over my own pee to try and find a line that wasn't there. Ewwww :laughing:

Im getting all confused with this charting stuff. I thought I ovulated on Friday, my temps were up, had CM, and PF on maybe baby. Since then each morning I have been doing the test, and this morning, my temp went up from 36.6/7 to 36.8 and had heaps of CM and on FF on maybe baby, unsure what the hell is going, so I woke my DH up and we BD (Just incase you could be worth it). :banghead:

Very strange, i think I might buy ovulation sticks, so when i think I'm going to O i can test that as well.

So that means to test my O each month I will be using:
Maybe Baby
BBT
Watching out for CM
OPK

thanks for asking Rach, no I didnt test, my temp went down heaps this morning, cramps are bad.. no AF yet, but I think she is coming. Glad I didnt test... and proud that I managed to stop myself from testing lol

its not so much that I am strong, more that I am scared, I just couldnt deal with another miscarriage, so if its one of those early ones, then I would rather not know that there was a chance that I was pg...
