DP and i are thinking about number 2 DS will be 2 in August but i have a few ifs anf buts.

What made you decide to have another baby???:confused:

My DS will be also be 2 in August. I have been umming and ahrring over whether to have number 2 or not as well. We have decided to TTC and these are the reasons why- they may not all apply to you, but might be worth thinking about :)

The age gap. I never really had a preference for a small or a large age gap, but thinking about it a little more I decided that I would prefer to have another one sooner rather than later. That way I'm not organising school drop offs around a new born :)

Time to fall pregnant. It took us 15 months to fall pregnant with DS, and if it takes us this long again (or longer) I will hit 30 before I know it (I am 28 now) I wanted to be finished having kids before 30.

Finances: We are stable with finances at the moment. I would like a larger house, but I think it would be crazy to put a baby on the back burner because we don't have a big house.

I guess the biggest reason is just that urge to have another baby- hard to explain, but once I started to think about babies morning noon and night, and suddenly all the pros outweighed the negatives, I decided it was time.

:iagree: I said I was done after 2 :laughing:. But this feeling DID NOT go away. So now we are ttc #3 :fingerscrossed:

we waited until our first DS was 2 and then we had our number 2 DS. the boys are 2 yrs and 10 months apart. this was a great age gap for us because number 1 son was beginning to toilet train, and generally be less demanding. also they formed a great relationship. the boys are now 8 and almost 11, and they are good mates. they fight like cat and dog, but they always play together, and they have similar interests. go for it!! besides, there's always an age and a stage, so it really needs to be when YOU are ready....:)

Between DS1 & 2, there wasn't much debate, DS1 turned one and bang we were pregnant with DS2. And yes, we were deliberately trying.:yes: But from 2 to 3? That was a different thing!!! We just felt like someone was missing!!;)
