Does any one have any recommendations in the way of 3 wheeler tandem prams (one in front of the other) My friend is wanting to buy one but is finding it very hard to get hold of. Are they any good or easier than the side by side 3 wheelers?
Please help her!

Tell her to get a side by side.... Ihave both, and the side by side is much much better than the tandem!
I'm not sure what tandems are 3 wheelers, not many i wouldn't imagine. I think the phil and teds one is a 3 wheeler, but it always looks a bit dodgy to me lol.

The new babylove tribute tandem is a three wheeler and looks quite good. We don't have one (we're still researching what pram to get) but we did try this one in the shop with DS in the front and the back. It was pretty easy to manouver, folded down quite well, wasn't too heavy and was reasonably stable (for a 3 wheeler). The downside for me was that the front seat wasn't full sized so if DS wanted to go to sleep he wouldn't have anything to rest his head on and when we put him in the back seat there was nowhere for his legs to go, he ended up sitting there with his knees around his ears, lol.
As for a side by side, I'm currently looking at the Ebaby brand ones on Ebay (the only place you can get them). They sell them brand new. You can pick them up for around $150. I went through the list of buyers and emailed everyone who had bought one of the side by side prams and asked them what they thought. Everyone came back and said that they liked the pram, that it was easy to use and they felt like they had value for money. I like that it is so cheap as realistically I don't know how long we would really need to have a twin pram as I would image that by the time DS is 2 he would want to walk most places .
If DS stops sleeping so much in the pram by the time this baby comes along then we will get the Phil & Teds as we're not then stuck with a massive tandem or double pram - we can just use it as a single. Then when we have more kids it can go back to being used as a tandem.
Hope I've been able to help a little bit. It's sooooo darn confusing when it comes to prams isn't it
I have the phil & ted's and wouldn't sell it for the world! Wrote a big love letter about it in another thread. See if you can search for it, or I'll find it and post a link if you want.

Thankyou for that info.
This is the pram she has been looking for but they dont sell it in Perth at any shops so the only place she can find it is on ebay. She has already been through 3 side by side double prams but wants to try something different for walking. She has twins 12 months old.
