I might have put this in the wrong section, feel free to move it! ;)

Ok.....I had bubs number 4 five weeks ago via a c-section and i am still bleeding  ....for the last 2 weeks it had been stopping for a day then starting again just a little only when i wipe but it is still red blood in colour not dirty looking...TMI ......then today it is a little heavier enough to go onto the pad.....is this normal to still be bleeding 5 weeks later?....With my others it stopped around the 2 1/2 - 3 week mark, i have rang the labour ward and they say since it is my 4th things take a little longer to settle down but "5 weeks".........i have my 6 week check next week and by the way i'm going i'm still going to be bleeding.....thanks for your help...MM xx

ok from memory

with DS1 I bled for around 4wks, after DS2 I bled for around 5wks, after DS3 I bled for around 6wksand after DD I bled for about 5wks

each was different, a couple of them was just heavy bleeding for a couple of weeks, then nothing for a few days, then bleeding again for a few days, and so on, I remember after DS3 was really weird, I bled on and off after 2wks and but was still passing clots 3-4wks later

my bubs is 4 weeks today and im still bleeding. Its not alot just pinky red and very light but with ds1 i only bled for 2 weeks.
I also had a big gush at about 2 weeks ago which was scary but has settled down now.
When I rung the labour ward they said you can bleed for up 6 weeks afterwards.

About 7-10 days ... was a lot shorter than I was expecting.

And my periods went back to what they were like in my 20s which was kind of relieving.
