Sunnybank Private Brisbane?

Hi there,
I'm six weeks with my first baby and am wondering if anyone has any experiences (good or bad) that they would like to share about Sunnybank Private. I just have no idea what to look for....

I had my DD at Sunnybank Private in May, and it was the best decision I ever made. The midwives were just wonderful and extremely helpful (even though I hounded them day and night with questions), they really make you feel welcome. My husband stayed a few nights with us, and he also felt extremely comfortable.

ooooooh suunybank private...

loved it - didn't want to leave... they had to kick me out after 7 days...

best midwife support - awesome special needs set up .. with especially lovely staff in there ..

I even liked the food (gasp) can not recommend it highly enough .. and I will be going back there for my next bub

make sure you go to the prenatal classes - if nothing else you get to meet other mums-to-be... and get to know a midwife (who runs it :) ) - they also do a tour :smiliedance:

Hi! :wave: Im having my baby there in October and so far my experience with them has been fantastic! :thumbsup: Its a nice looking hospital and the staff seem lovely and helpful.

I had my DD at SPH just over 10 mths ago and like Veve, cannot rave enough about it. The staff are fantastic, made DH & I feel very welcome, were very supportive of us as 1st time parents, esp with all our questions. The interior has recently been refurbished, so its quite nice and comfortable, food was great too. DH stayed the first night and staff treated my visitors well too. I attended the antenatal classes which we found very useful, our mw was great and it was nice to meet other expectant couples (esp in those last weeks of pregnancy) and I also attended the baby clinic postnatally, which is where I met the wonderful ladies who are now my mum's group! I would definately return to SPH for #2!

I dont know if your still interested in peoples comments on Sunnybank but im new to these threads and thought id put my 2 cents worth in! I went to Sunnybank private with both my 2 and absolutely loved it the midwives were very good they treated you like an equal and helped you with any problems you had! The rooms are really comfortable they are like a hotel room!!! They have a nursery so if you wanted a good night sleep then you can put your baby down there but they do like you to have your baby with you! And the food oh my god yummy you get a choise what to eat each meal plus you get snacks aswell its great! I went to the antenatal classes (its best to book early for) and i still meet up with them after nearly 2 years!

Highly recommend it its worth going private!
