Hi other mums and dads,
We have recently come across fuzzibunz nappies. They sound like a great alternative to traditional cloth nappies and disposables. See their website on www.fuzzibunz.com.au for details. We are really keen to receive some feedback from mums and dads with first hand experience of them. The initial finacial outlay is quite alot but it works out alot cheaper over the period of nappy needed years and are great from an enviromental perspective, plus they look really cute!!
Looking forward to some replies. Thanks, Fuschia.

Pocket nappies are great. I have a couple of fuzzy bunz and they have been really good as a daytime nappy. They are not so great as a night time nappy if you have a tummy sleeper as I couldnt stuff them enough without then leaking out the top. In saying that, I dont like pockets for night time anyway but daytime they are great. There are a few other aussie made, wahm, pocket nappies about, green nappies, sandra's stuffables. If you want more info try allaboutnappies.com or ozclothnappies (a yahoo group) I have used cloth full time with DD (now 18mths) . Pockets, fitteds and flats, you name it and would NEVER use a disposable again (used them in hospital and that was enough for me). Good on you for looking for a better option.

I agree with ecomumma, pocket nappies ROCK. I have tried Fuzzibuns but didn't particularly like them. There are other forums you can go to, to fins out all about cloth nappies. PM me if you want more details.

Cloth nappies certainly help the environment andyour back pocket and you can get sooooo many different types, designs and patterns.

Have fun looking and buying them.
